WHO WE ARE
Forged Fitness LA (“Forged Fitness,” “we,” “us”) operates a fitness facility at 4315 Johnston Street, Lafayette, LA 70503. This policy explains what information we collect from members and prospective members, how we use it, and the choices you have.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Information you give us. Your name, email address, mobile phone number, and anything you type into a form on our website or send us in a text message or voicemail.
- Communication records. The text messages, calls, and voicemails between you and Forged Fitness, including the date, time, and content, so a coach can pick up the conversation where it left off.
- Consent records. If you opt in to text messages, we record that you consented, when you consented, and which form or method you used.
- Basic site data. Standard web server and analytics information such as pages viewed and approximate location by region.
HOW WE USE IT
- To respond to you and follow up about a visit, trial, class, or membership.
- To send appointment reminders, schedule changes, and membership notices.
- To send offers and gym news, if you asked to receive them.
- To keep records of our communications with you and to run the business.
TEXT MESSAGING
If you opt in, we send text messages from (844) 542-6875. Message frequency varies, roughly 2–6 messages per month plus replies to conversations you start. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing anything from us. Full program terms are on our SMS Updates page.
We do not share your mobile information for marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only in these cases:
- Service providers. Companies that run our website, messaging, scheduling, and billing on our behalf, and only so they can provide that service to us. They may not use your information for their own marketing.
- Legal reasons. When we are required to by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our members, staff, or the business.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We keep member and lead records for as long as you have a relationship with the gym and afterward as needed for our business and legal records. Text message consent and opt-out records are kept as long as required to show that we honored your choices.
YOUR CHOICES
- Text messages. Reply STOP at any time, or call us and ask to be removed.
- Email. Use the unsubscribe link, or call us and ask.
- Access, correction, and deletion. Call or write to us at the contact details below and we will update or delete your information, unless we are required to keep it.
CHILDREN
Our website and messaging program are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Minors train with us only with a parent or guardian, who provides and controls the contact information we hold.
SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
If we change this policy we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
